Where It's Found

Pacific coast rivers and the Great Lakes (where it's been introduced), spending part of its life in the ocean or open lake before returning to spawn.

Trolling spoons and flashers near river mouths, or drifting spawn sacs and beads upstream during the fall run, are proven methods.
