Answers to the questions we hear most.

Where does Boatzia's ramp data come from?

We aggregate boat ramp records from the USGS national boat ramp inventory and individual state wildlife/DNR agencies. See our Data Sources page for the full list per state.

How current is the information?

Data is refreshed periodically from the source agencies. Hours, fees, and amenities can change without notice at the local level, so always confirm anything time-sensitive (like seasonal hours or fee changes) before you drive out.

I found incorrect information on a ramp page. How do I report it?

Use the Contact page and describe the ramp and what's wrong. We can't guarantee an immediate fix since corrections often require re-verifying with the source agency, but we do review every report.

Is Boatzia free to use?

Yes. Every ramp listing, map, and guide on the site is free with no login required. The site is supported by advertising.

Do you have an app?

Not a native app, but the site is installable as a Progressive Web App (PWA) — most mobile browsers offer an "Add to Home Screen" option that gives you an app-like icon and experience.

Can I suggest a new feature?

Yes — the Contact page has a spot for feature requests, and we read every one.
